New transformer plant built in Indonesia

Indonesia, Jakarta: PT Sintra Power Elektrik is investing $20 million in setting up a new transformer manufacturing plant in Cikarang, West Java province.

The new transformer plant to be inaugurated soon will have the capacity to produce 100 MVA power transformers, reports Rambu Energy.

The company targets to produce 25 units a year for the main customer, PLN, and 15 units for other companies and power plants.
