Two new solar farms proposed in Formby

United Kingdom: Two proposed solar farms on Green Belt land in Formby are expected to provide power to thousands of homes a year and reduce carbon emissions.

The plan for Tip Field is to build a 5.62MWp solar photovoltaic (PV) array, four transformer cabinets, as well as a substation and a private switchgear building, reports Visiter.

The proposal for Jemmy’s Carr is for a 5MWp solar photovoltaic array, which will also include three transformer cabinets, a substation and a private switchgear building.
