France: French independent power producer Neoen has signed a framework agreement with Schneider Electric for the supply of photovoltaic, transformer, monitoring and switchgear solutions to 750 MW of solar projects across three continents.
As part of the agreement, Schneider Electric will supply its conversion stations to a range of solar projects being developed by Neoen, which comprise a 1,500 V central inverter, transformers, medium voltage switchgear, and a complete monitoring and control system, reports PV Magazine.
Also included is Schneider Electric’s lifecycle maintenance services.
Both companies have previously collaborated on the 300 MW Cestas solar plant in France – Europe’s largest solar installation.
