Many Chinese manufacturers continue to see Ghana as an emerging niche market in the West African sub-region, including transformer manufacturers, reports News Ghana.

Ma Yunyun, representative of JuBang Group Company Ltd., an electrical equipment company from Yueqing in Zhejiang in China, said she saw Ghana as a developing market that could link manufacturers to the larger West African market.

JuBang Group manufactures transformers, circuit breakers, switchgears and substations.

According to Ma Yunyun, the company plans to open a factory in Ghana within one or two years.
