Bosnian utility embarking on power distribution upgrade projects

Bosnia and Herzegovina, Banja Luka: Bosnian power distribution company Elektrokrajina will start tendering for a project aimed to improve the reliability of its power supply, which is financed by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).

The funding of $17.9 million will be used for the reconstruction of medium and low-voltage distribution networks in most populated areas, including the replacement and reconstruction of substations, reports SeeNews.

The company also plans to extend smart metering.
