Ukraine, Odessa: Crompton Greaves has won an order worth € 2 million ($ 2.8 million) for two power transformers and one Gas Insulated Switchgear from Ukrainian electricity utility Odessa Oblenergo for the Marazlievskaya substation.
"The order is valued at € 2 million ($ 2.8 million) and installation and commissioning of the equipment is expected to be completed by the end of 2014, reports Business Standard. CG will undertake the supervision of erection and commissioning of the transformers and switchgear." CG stated.
Odessa Oblenergo supplies electricity to Odessa and other surrounding areas.
"We look forward to strengthening our relationship with Odessa Oblenergo and establishing ourselves as a partner of choice to supply high-quality, durable power equipment," CG's CEO and Managing Director, Laurent Demortier said.
