Russian Rusatom Service has completed the delivery of the second block transformer for the Armenian nuclear power plant.
Earlier this month it had delivered the first block transformer and the first of two turbo generators.
In March 2014, the Armenian government decided to extend the plant’s service life because of the delay in building a new unit. The transformers will be used to replace the outdated equipment and to increase the voltage and transmission of electrical energy supply to the power system.
The equipment was manufactured by Zaporozhtransformator.
