The Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company (EETC) contracted an Egyptian German Electrical Manufacturing Co (EGEMAC)-led consortium to construct a transformer station in Naga Hammadi at a cost of $41 million.
The 500/220/66/11 kV transformer station will be constructed on a turnkey basis, reports Daily News Egypt.
EGEMAC has also won a contract with the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) to implement two new power transformer stations in Cairo at 220/66/11 kV.
In addition, EGMAC has won the tender for the construction of two power transformer stations in the city of Sadat in two areas, at a cost of $34 million. The company will complete the project during the current year.
