Fire erupts at JEA substation in Orange Park

USA, Florida: A loud explosion at a JEA substation on Shaw Street in Orange Park, Florida on Saturday afternoon set a transformer on fire, causing 2,200 power outages in the affected area.

JEA estimated that around 3,785 litres of mineral oil was spilled out of the transformer, but was contain on the site, reports News 4 Jax.

There were no injuries reported.
