An Indian logistics specialist company has successfully transported eight power transformers and reactors from Mumbai to Senegal for a large Indian power substation project under construction in Ziguinchor.

A total of eight units were shipped in two lots from Mumbai Port via Dakar Port to the destination site 900 kilometres away the Port of Dakar, reports AJOT.

The units weighed from 48 tons each to 55 tons each, which made the journey from Dakar Port to the site very challenging.
