ATC energizes $327.6M project in Northeastern Wisconsin

USA, Wisconsin: American Transmission Co. (ATC) has put in service two new transmission lines built within the North Appleton-Morgan Project in order to ensure reliable electricity supply in the northern parts of its service area.

The two 138 kV and 345 kV transmission lines run between the North Appleton Substation in Outagamie County and the Morgan Substation in Oconto County. Both substations were significantly expanded, while a new substation was built in Benson Lake in Marinette County, reports T&D World.

The project was authorized in 2015 at a cost of $327.6 million
