Oman, Muscat: Ganesh Nadgouda has been appointed as General Manager of Voltamp Power, a state-of-the-art power transformer company at Sohar.
Ganesh has been with Voltamp Power for the last six years. He started off in the Qatar Joint Venture and afterwards worked as General Manager of Voltamp Transformers Oman at Rusayl. For the last few months, he has been the Acting General Manager for Voltamp Power. He has 22 years experience in the power transformer industry.
Alok Bhargava, the CEO of Voltamp Energy , said: "The Power Transformers factory at Sohar will lead Voltamp 's future growth and this appointment reflects the importance Voltamp attaches to this world class facility."
Ganesh commented on his strategy after taking over: "The focus will be to offer world class products at competitive prices, as well as train as many Omanis as possible to take up this challenge."
Voltamp Energy is an Omani public company engaged in the manufacture of a wide range of transformers and switchgears through its four factories, all located in the Sultanate of Oman.
